Campaign Plays
Sequence cadences and the confirm-cadence-first rule.
Use when you're about to build an outreach sequence (Lemlist, Instantly, HeyReach, …). The cadence shape is the client's call, not an assumption — so always prompt the user with a few example plays and confirm before building.
Rule: confirm the cadence before building
Never assume the channel
Default to what the data + client supports: no email on the leads → LinkedIn-only; candidate acquisition → LinkedIn + personal email (never work email).
Prompt the user with 2–4 example plays
Let them pick or tweak steps, delays, branching.
Build it cold
No sender, no draft, no leads, not started. Sending (start_campaign) is separately
approval-gated.
Example plays
A — LinkedIn-only: connect → messages (no email)
D0 linkedinVisit → D1 linkedinInvite (no note)
└ IF linkedinInviteAccepted within 3d → linkedinSend ×3 (D0, +2, +3)B — LinkedIn-first + email fallback (multichannel)
D0 linkedinVisit → D1 linkedinInvite (no note)
└ accepted within 3d → linkedinSend ×3 (if email on file: LinkedIn first, email only if no reply)
└ fallback (not accepted in ~5d) → email-only sequence (fires only when a lead has an email)Building a sequence is free; starting it spends nothing on the sequencer (all sequencers
are free on Hyreflow, and run on your own connected account) but is still approval-gated because it
sends real messages. Confirm the sender, the draft, and the lead list before start_campaign.
Sequencers
All sequencers are free on Hyreflow's credit model: Instantly, Lemlist, HeyReach, Smartlead, SendKit, SourceWhale. Each one runs on your own account, so connect it on the Integrations page before the first send — Instantly, Lemlist, HeyReach, Smartlead and SendKit take an API key there; SourceWhale isn't self-serve yet, so contact Hyreflow to get it enabled. Pick the one you already run — SendKit is the pick when you want to check a mailbox's warmup and deliverability before it sends. See Providers.
