Monitors

Watch for changes on a schedule, like the jobs a company posts, and see what's new.

A monitor watches for one kind of change. You set up schedules for it, each saying what to watch and how often, and every run of a schedule shows you what's new. Today there is one monitor:

  • Jobs: watches a company's careers page and shows each new job it posts. For an agency, a company that just opened roles is the moment to reach out with candidates.

More kinds will follow. Monitors are in beta and turned on per workspace: if you don't see Monitors in your dashboard, contact us to turn them on.

Set up a schedule

On the dashboard: open Monitors and click a monitor, for example Jobs. Its page shows the schedules you've set up for it, with each one's last and next run. Click New schedule, say what to watch and how often, and save. Click a schedule to see what it found and its runs.

A workspace watches each thing once: a second schedule with the same settings is refused and names the one already watching it, so your team never pays twice for the same check. Change that one instead.

With your agent: ask it, for example, "Use hyreflow and watch acme.com's careers page for new sales roles". It shows you the price and asks before it sets up the schedule. See the MCP reference for its monitor tools.

The first run, and what "new" means

A new schedule's first run starts within about 5 minutes of saving. It records what's already there, marks it as already there when the schedule started, and reports none of it as new. Every run after that shows what wasn't there before, marked new, with the date each was first seen.

If you change what a schedule watches, it starts over: what it found so far is cleared, and its next run records what's there without marking it new. Changing its name or how often it runs doesn't.

How often

A schedule runs at most once an hour. Pick a preset, or choose Custom and give a cron expression in UTC, for example 0 9 * * 1-5 for weekdays at 09:00 UTC. On a schedule's page, Run now starts a run within about 5 minutes, as long as the last one started over an hour ago.

The Jobs monitor

Set up a schedule for each company you want to watch. Give the company's website, and optionally:

  • Careers page: a link to it, if you know it. Otherwise it's found from the website.
  • Job titles and locations: only jobs that match are watched. Leave them empty to watch every job.
  • Max pages: how many pages of the careers site each run reads. Leave it empty for the default. A large careers site may need more, and more pages make each run cost more.

The first run lists the jobs already on the careers page, marked already listed when the schedule started.

Pricing

Each run costs a fixed fee, whatever it finds, plus a small amount for each new job. You never pay for a job you've already seen, or for what the first run finds already there. A run that fails costs nothing. Raising Max pages above the default raises the fee.

The form shows the exact price as you fill it in, with what the schedule's runs cost a month, and the schedule's page keeps showing it. A less frequent schedule costs less.

Billing

Runs are billed to the workspace, not to the member who set up the schedule, so a member's own spending cap doesn't apply to them. The workspace's spending cap does.

Pausing and deleting

Pause stops a schedule's runs until you Resume it. A run still in progress stops before it's charged, so it costs nothing and finds nothing. A resumed schedule runs again at its next scheduled time.

If the workspace runs out of credits during a run, the schedule pauses itself, and its page says why. Add credits on the Billing page, then resume it.

Delete removes the schedule with its runs and everything it found.

A workspace can have up to 25 schedules.
