Network sourcing
Upload your LinkedIn connections and let your agent search your whole team's network.
Network sourcing lets your agent search the LinkedIn connections of everyone on your workspace. Each member exports their own connections from LinkedIn and uploads the file to Hyreflow. The agent then searches the combined network and tells you which teammate is connected to each person it finds.
It is available on the Essential plan and above. Searching costs 0 credits.
Export your connections from LinkedIn
- On LinkedIn, open Me, then Settings & Privacy, then Data privacy, then Download your data.
- Choose Download larger data archive (the first option, which includes your connections) and click Request archive.
- LinkedIn emails you a download link within 24 hours. Download the zip and unzip it. It holds many files.
- Upload only
Connections.csvat Dashboard → Integrations → LinkedIn network. Its columns are First Name, Last Name, URL, Email Address, Company, Position and Connected On. Don't upload the zip or any other file from it.
LinkedIn's export page is at linkedin.com/mypreferences/d/download-my-data. LinkedIn's own guides are Export connections from LinkedIn and Downloading your account data. The export includes a connection's email only when that person allowed it, so many rows have a name, company and position but no email.
Upload, re-upload or remove
Open Dashboard → Integrations and find the LinkedIn network section.
- Upload your
Connections.csv. The section then shows when you last uploaded and how many connections it holds. - Re-upload a newer export at any time. It replaces your previous upload.
- Remove deletes your upload. Your connections are no longer searchable.
Every member uploads their own file; you cannot upload for a teammate. The section also lists each member who has uploaded, with their connection count and upload date, and the number of distinct connections across the team. On a plan below Essential the section shows the required plan and an upgrade link instead of the upload button.
Search the network
Ask your agent, or call the linkedin_network tool's search method directly.
To check candidates you already sourced, pass their LinkedIn profile URLs. The match is exact on the profile,
whichever way the URL is written, and unmatched lists the ones nobody on your team knows:
hyreflow tools execute linkedin_network search --payload '{"urls":["https://www.linkedin.com/in/ada-acme","https://www.linkedin.com/in/cy-acme"]}'To explore by company or role:
hyreflow tools execute linkedin_network search --payload '{"company":"acme","title":"engineering manager"}'| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
urls | LinkedIn profile URLs to check, up to 500 per search |
q | Free text, matched against name, company and position |
company | Filter by company |
title | Filter by position |
limit | Maximum results, 25 by default and 100 at most |
Each result includes connected_via, the emails of the teammates who are connected to that person. A person
several teammates know lists all of them, so you can ask the right one for an introduction.
The result also includes uploaded_members, the number of teammates whose connections were searched. When it is
0, nobody in the workspace has uploaded yet.
See Teams & Workspaces for how members share a workspace.
