The short answer
Metaview and hyreflow overlap on candidate sourcing and differ on everything around it. Metaview is a recruiting platform built around its interview notetaker, at $60 per user a month, with sourcing at $100 per user a month for 200 profiles. hyreflow (hyreflow.ai) works inside Claude or ChatGPT. One prompt finds candidates, contact details, live vacancies and hiring managers and updates your ATS, from $49 a month for a workspace of up to 2 seats. Prices checked 3 October 2026.
- Metaview starts from the interview, with a notetaker that joins your calls. hyreflow starts from the search and does not record calls.
- hyreflow covers business development as well as sourcing, with live vacancies, hiring managers and spec campaigns. Metaview's business development guide is about leads found in recorded calls.
- Both work inside Claude and ChatGPT. Metaview's connector works on your Metaview data and searches; hyreflow's works across several data providers, job adverts and your own ATS and sequencer.
- The two charge in different units. Metaview prices each product separately, sourcing and notes per user; hyreflow charges per workspace, with the seats included in the plan.
- Sourcing, from
- hyreflow $49 a workspace; Metaview $100 a user
- Interview notes
- Metaview built in; hyreflow reads your own notetaker
- Finds new clients
- hyreflow from live vacancies; Metaview from recorded calls
What is the difference between Metaview and hyreflow?#
Metaview is a recruiting application that starts from the interview; hyreflow is a set of recruiting tools your AI assistant uses, and it starts from the search. Metaview calls itself "the Agentic Recruiting Platform", with products for notes, sourcing, application review, screening and reports. hyreflow has no search screen of its own: you add it to Claude or ChatGPT as a connector, and the conversation is the interface.
In practice the two overlap on candidate sourcing and split everywhere else. Metaview adds what happens on and after a call: notes, screening interviews, application review. hyreflow adds what happens before one: which companies have a live vacancy, who the hiring manager is, and how to reach them.

Metaview prices were read on its pricing page on 3 October 2026. The page has a tab for each product (Sourcing, Application Review, Notetaker, All agents) and shows monthly prices only; this table uses the Sourcing tab unless a row says otherwise. 'Not advertised' means the feature was not found on the Metaview pages listed under Sources on that date; it is not a statement that the feature does not exist.
How does hyreflow work after a client briefing call?#
hyreflow gives your AI assistant recruiting tools, and you ask for the outcome in plain language. A desk that records its calls can start from the recording.
Use hyreflow and turn the briefing call I recorded with this client today into a search brief, with the questions the client did not answer. Then build a shortlist of 10 candidates against the must-haves and find a personal email for each. Tell me the cost before you spend anything.
What comes back
A search brief in the client's own words, the open questions, and a ranked shortlist with a reason and a personal email for each candidate, delivered in the conversation and as a file.
Behind the prompt, the assistant reads the transcript from your own Fathom or Granola account, then picks from the tools in the hyreflow catalog: people-data providers for the search and contact-data providers for the emails. hyreflow does not record the call itself. The two halves have their own playbooks: briefing call to search brief and job spec to shortlist.
The same conversation covers business development. The who is hiring right now playbook finds companies with a live vacancy, and How to source candidates with Claude covers the setup.
How does Metaview work?#
Metaview describes itself as "the Agentic Recruiting Platform built for radically efficient hiring, end to end". Its notetaker joins a video call as a visible participant, and Metaview's help centre says notes are normally ready within 5 minutes. Alongside notes it offers agents for sourcing, application review and screening. Its outbound agent, fillmore, works in Slack and is described as one that "finds candidates, runs personalized outreach, and books screening calls completely autonomously".
Does Metaview work inside Claude or ChatGPT?#
Yes. Metaview is listed in Claude's connector directory and as a ChatGPT app. Its help centre says the connector reads transcripts, notes and sourcing data and can start searches, send candidates to your ATS and manage outreach sequences, within your Metaview permissions (3 October 2026).
The two connectors do different work. Metaview's operates on what is in Metaview. hyreflow's has no product behind it: every tool it exposes is a data provider, a job-advert source, or your own ATS or sequencer.
How does Metaview pricing compare with hyreflow pricing?#
They are charged in different units. Metaview prices each product separately: Sourcing and Notetaker per user, Application Review as a flat monthly fee, and the full platform on request. hyreflow charges per workspace, and the plan price includes the seats.
| hyreflow | Metaview | |
|---|---|---|
| Unit | Per workspace, per month | Per product: Sourcing and Notetaker per user, Application Review flat |
| Free | 25 credits on signup | Sourcing: first 100 profiles, once. Notetaker: 25 calls a month. Application Review: 50 a month |
| Sourcing | Starter: $49, 500 credits, up to 2 seats | Pro: $100 per user, 200 profiles a month. Max: $300 per user, unlimited profiles |
| Notetaker | Not included; reads notes from your own Fathom, Granola or Aircall account | Pro: $60 per user, unlimited calls |
| Application review | Not included | Pro: $150 a month for 500 reviews, unlimited users |
| Contact details | From the same credit balance; most lookups that find nothing are free | 3 credits per email, 10 per phone number; 500 free credits a month per workspace; top-ups $10 per 100 |
| Larger plans | Essential: $189, 2,000 credits, up to 5 seats. Pro: $449, 5,000 credits, up to 10 seats | Sourcing Enterprise: tailored pricing. Full platform with all agents: custom pricing |
| Outbound agent | Scheduled workflows through the CLI or API, included | fillmore: "only pay when you hire"; no rate published |
| Unused allowance | Credits roll over, up to twice the monthly allowance | Sourcing credits do not roll over |
Metaview meters each product on its own: profiles sourced, contact credits, application reviews, screening interviews and recorded calls each have a separate allowance (Metaview pricing page and help centre, 3 October 2026). hyreflow has one credit balance for the whole workspace, and a search, an email lookup and a vacancy search all draw on it.
Prices were read on 3 October 2026; Metaview's pricing page shows monthly prices only. A hyreflow credit costs about $0.09 to $0.10 depending on the plan, and a call made through your own provider account uses no credits. The current plans are on the hyreflow pricing page.
What does hyreflow do differently from Metaview?#
The two overlap on sourcing. Three things separate them.
- hyreflow works before the call. It finds companies with a live vacancy and the hiring manager behind each advert, which an agency needs before there is an interview to record.
- One balance, not one meter per product. A shortlist, an email lookup and a vacancy search all spend the same hyreflow credits.
- Your recordings stay where they are. hyreflow reads call notes from your own Fathom, Granola or Aircall account and can write interview notes onto the candidate's record in your ATS.
An in-house talent team that picks Metaview for interview notes is not choosing between the two; hyreflow adds sourcing from several data providers, with candidates synced into Ashby or Lever.
Can you use hyreflow alongside Metaview?#
Yes. The two do not exchange data, so a Metaview customer uses hyreflow for what Metaview does not cover: finding vacancies and hiring managers, and sourcing from several data providers. hyreflow has no Metaview tool in its catalog. Its call playbooks, which turn a recorded briefing into a search brief or write interview notes onto a candidate's record, read the recording from a Fathom, Granola or Aircall account.
Metaview is listed in Claude's connector directory, and hyreflow is added as a custom connector. Anthropic's help centre says free Claude accounts are limited to one custom connector.
How do you test Metaview and hyreflow on the same role?#
Compare them only where they overlap, on sourcing. Metaview sources the first 100 profiles free, once, and hyreflow gives 25 credits on signup.
- Pick one open role and write down its must-haves before you start.
- Run it through Metaview's sourcing agent and through hyreflow with a job-spec prompt.
- Compare the first ten profiles from each against the must-haves. For contact details, note that Metaview charges 3 credits per email and hyreflow charges only when one is found.
- Leave notes out of the test. If your desk needs call recording, that decision is separate from this one.
Is hyreflow the right Metaview alternative for a recruitment agency?#
For sourcing and business development, yes: hyreflow finds candidates, live vacancies and hiring managers inside Claude or ChatGPT. For interview recording and notes, no: hyreflow does not record calls, and that is where Metaview started.
hyreflow fits a recruitment agency that
- needs vacancies and hiring managers found, not only candidates
- already records calls with Fathom, Granola or Aircall
- wants one credit balance instead of an allowance per product
hyreflow is not the right fit if you
- want interview recording and notes in the same product as sourcing
- want an agent that sends LinkedIn and WhatsApp messages for you
- want application review and screening interviews built in
Questions recruiters ask about Metaview and hyreflow#
Is hyreflow a Metaview alternative for sourcing?
Yes. hyreflow builds a scored shortlist with contact details from a job spec inside Claude or ChatGPT, from $49 a month per workspace. Metaview's sourcing agent costs $100 per user a month for 200 profiles, or $300 for unlimited profiles (3 October 2026).
Does hyreflow take interview notes like Metaview?
No. hyreflow does not join or record calls. It can read call notes from your own Fathom, Granola or Aircall account and use them in a search or an ATS update. Metaview's notetaker joins Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex calls.
How much does the Metaview notetaker cost?
Metaview's pricing page lists Notetaker Pro at $60 per user a month with unlimited calls, and a free plan with 25 calls a month (3 October 2026). Sourcing and Application Review are priced separately. hyreflow has no notetaker.
Can hyreflow help me win new clients, not only fill roles?
Yes. hyreflow finds companies with a live vacancy, the hiring manager behind the advert and a work email, and can take a strong candidate to market. Metaview's help centre describes business development as intelligence drawn from recorded calls; finding vacancies and hiring managers was not advertised on the Metaview pages read on 3 October 2026.
